Are you ready for Taco Tuesday?

We love to do Mexican nights here at our house and enjoy chicken tacos the most. Why not make it super simple and do Crockpot Chicken Tacos!!

Grab your crockpot and two chicken breasts and let’s get started!

  • Two fresh or frozen chicken breasts
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (I have the seasoning shaker)
  • 3/4 cup water

Add chicken breasts, 3/4 cup of water and the packet of taco seasoning to your crockpot. Set your crockpot to 8hr on low or 4 hr on high.

After a few hours I like to move the chicken around so it doesn’t dry out.

Shred the chicken and leave on warm until you are ready to eat!

There are a lot of Mexican meals you can make with taco chicken. This time I made a bowl with beans rice tomatoes and cheese while Jake had chicken tacos in a hard shell.

We also use this recipe in bulk for family events: aka up to 10 chicken breasts. I usually up the seasoning packet for every 3 breasts.

You can make quesadillas, burritos, soft/hard tacos, taco salads, burrito bowls, fajitas…etc.

Come on in, welcome to our home! Grab a plate and fix up your favorite Mexican dish!

I used the Project Life app to whip up this recipe card for you all;

Always, always count your blessings
